(Banked Owned Property Manager)

We are searching for a someone special to join our Team.

The REO Manager for The Gold Group Team works daily with the Equator Online system monitoring and completing all assignments in the workflow.  You do not need knowledge of the Equator system but must be comfortable with the computer and learning a new program. 

This position also requires field work, property inspections & contact with city/county employees, contractors and more.

There is never a dull moment working with REO properties.  You must have superb follow-up skills, high attention to detail as well as strong problem solving skills.

You must have a current active Realtor License in the state of Florida.

It’s a week before closing & BAM! No Loan!

Everything is going great.  The closing is scheduled the buyers are ready the seller’s have packed and scheduled the movers.  The phone rings.  “I hate to tell you this but the buyers loan was not approved.”  What!  Last week we had the committment letter, everything was fine! 

Turns out the buyer’s went shopping for new furniture, a new Big Screen TV & kitchen appliances.  They put it all on their credit cards throwing off their perfect FICO scores.  Mortgage Loan REJECTED!

Simple Credit Do’s & Don’ts when applying for a mortgage.

  1. Don’t – Consolidate all your debt onto 1 or 2 credit cards
  2. Don’t – Apply for new credit with in 45 days before signing a contract or until after you close on that new home.
  3. Don’t – ‘shop’ for new credit – cars, furniture etc.
  4. Don’t – close credit card accounts – even if they have a zero balance.

 Do!

  1. Do – File business & personal tax returns/extensions.  If you file an extension disclose the amount owed.
  2. Explain or document all inquiries on your credit report.
  3. Disclose ALL debt – even if it did not show up on your credit report. 

Work with a reputable, knowledgeable lender.  Ask your Realtor(r) who they recommend.
